American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her career in supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she was cast in the role as reporter Willa McPherson on the series of FX Dirt. She also played a supporting part in FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She also voices of various characters in the animated comedy series Family Guy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she reached the age of 10, at which point her mother and her moved to California [1] where they lived for a while before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to be interested in acting, photography and singing when she was 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 years old, to pursue her acting career.
